Health Day
It’s “Health Day” again! On 19 October, the Environmental Protection and Health Education Committee held game booths for students to learn about “Healthy life”, “Healthy body”, and “Healthy mind.” Environmental protection and health ambassadors set up nine game booths, working together with the departments of Biology, Geography, Physical Education, Red Cross, STEM, and the Reading Promotion Committee. Students participated in the event actively as they learnt through play. On the same day, an inter-house competition was also held, to which students responded with enthusiasm. During school assembly, Ms. Tiffany Cheung, Nutritionist & Assistant Program Manager (Campus) of Green Monday, was invited to our school to talk about “Nutrition and Low-Carbon Life.” She urged students to protect the environment and reminded students the importance of having healthy eating habits. Students benefited a lot from her sharing. On 22 October, during morning assembly, three environmental protection and health ambassadors shared health-related books, encouraging their schoolmates to cultivate their minds through reading. In addition to reinforcing their knowledge of environmental protection, “Health Day” raised students’ awareness of mental and physical well-being.
