In order to enhance parents’ communication skills with their children and implement holistic education, the Religious Affairs Committee and the Parent-Teacher Association have jointly organized a series of workshops and talks for Parents’ Academy. In response to the rapidly changing COIVI-19 outbreak in Hong Kong, the third meeting and fourth meeting of Parents’ Academy were held online on 22 January and 12 February respectively. Ms Shirley Loo, General Secretary of the Family Development Foundation, was the speaker of the third meeting and shared on the topic “Hearing Your Children: Methods for Better Parent-Child Communication” while Mr Ho Chun Lim, Vice Principal of CCC Yenching College and an educational psychologist, gave a talk on “Building a Harmonious Family” at the fourth meeting. More than a hundred parents joined and learnt essential parenting skills in the meetings.
